I'm getting the 295 ventus put on in the spring and have read about the tire width being a problem on uneven roads. Why is it the people with the srt's don't complain about that? Is it that bad?

Thank you! I was waiting for a review from someone has actually has experience with the tire .

I am looking forward to driving in some deep snow. I think yesterday was definitely icey.

I actually haven't had a problem with the width in any way, if anything im enjoying it, it keeps the truck flat and straight. now with what TRELOS78 said about being thrown around when he hit a pot hole, I always though that was from just driving an elephant. if anything having the wider tire should help with potholes... no?

Re: Hankook Ventus ST RH06, Snow

Have you had them for a while?

If brand new, sometimes tires will still have mold release on them which can make them very slippery in wet.

Also, assuming they are not inflated past the pressure suggested by Jeep.

Yah, this is only for really new tires, maybe the first 50mi or such. Inflation sounds OK, too.

How about a few more pics please... How is the fit? Are you close to the ball joint thingy? Not sure what it's called. I know with my stock 265/50/20's I'm about an inch away...

Re: Hankook Ventus ST RH06, Snow

Thanks... did you change your suspension? I have 4 295/45/20's Ventus tires sitting in my garage. I have 1 20x10 srt rep coming Saturday. I'm going to try the fit before I order the other 3... I know I put the cart before the horse... Hopefully it works for me or I will have 4 Hankook Ventus ST RH06 for sale...

I didn't change a thing on mine. I don't think RECDOG did either.
