It looks like this kit includes both:

Eibach 28108.601 (two of these, part of Eibach 28108.640)
Eibach 28108.602 (two of these, part of Eibach 28108.640)

Did you order the front/rear kit or just the rears? If just the rears, which part #?

Your ride has a great stance now...looks great!

Thanks man - appreciate that - now it's ready for some 32s!

So that was my goal -to just order the rears, however, Eibach wouldn't let me - trust me, I tried.

So right now I have the front Eibach springs in the box here still.....but considering the front Eibach springs yield a 2" lift alone, those paired with Bilsteins (even at their lowest groove yielding a ~.4" lift) would make it too high in the front which is why I opted for just doing the rears.

Yeah man - I am thinking that as well.

I wish that I was able to use my Eibach springs in the front, but I think I would need the TJ coil spacer like you did in the back to go that route.

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

After reading several threads and posts the "minority" of people who say the bilstiens are a rougher ride then the factory struts when they are maxed out gives me a little concern. Thinking about getting them and going 1.25" or maxed out at 1.75" but I want to be greedy and maintain the factory ride... Has anyone on this post experienced a worse ride? or should I ignore the few who are casting doubt? (I am little hesitant because I lifted a tacoma several years back and ended up selling it because I couldn't stand the ride -- don't want to "ruin" the cherokee) Thanks everyone

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

I've had the Bilstein's for 6 months set at 1.75 and have no complaints at all. The ride didn't change that much for me besides getting rid of the awful brake dive. It certainly doesn't ride rough.

Re: Has anyone used the Bilstein 5100s?

At first I had mine on the 2nd setting, for .75" lift, then changed to the first setting, for .4" lift, and noted a slightly softer ride. At 1.75" I would be concerned about stiffness, but my situation is slightly different as I have the RRO lift. Still, that shouldn't be a factor as the spacer is on top of the strut.

Your tires etc are also going to contribute or negate ride quality... for my setup going any more would be stretching the suspension too thin and I probably wouldn't be happy with the ride. Right now it's great however...perfect amount of stiffness added while still maintaining the great fluent ride quality.

Thanks , setup:

Tires: 275/65R/18 General Grabber AT2 (32")
Wheels: Pro Comp 7036 (Helldorados) 18x9 , 0 offset
Suspension in current state, Bilstein 5100 series, top notch up front. OEM springs in front, rears = Eibachs

Thinking about going to the lowest setting up front on the Bilsteins and swapping in Eibachs in the front. Not sure what I want to do. I am rubbing on full lock right now but I can trim some things

Amazing ride!!! Im currently running 275x65r18 Toyo ATs on em wheels with out any rubbing issues but want to add the bilsteins for a better off road ride and to raise the front a little bit.

Still looking for a set of 18x9 wheels I like, but with a +15 or +30 offset to avoid rubbing issues
