Have you sold your stock Lattitudes?

I stopped by a few tire shops on the way home today to find out about a possible trade on an A/T tire. The resounding message was "You're over 500 miles so we can't call then take-offs". They only have 1500 on them now and the best offer I got (not in writing) was $60 per. I was wondering if anyone has had better luck selling them on craigslist or ebay for more than I'd get on trade. I would just hate to be stuck with a set I couldn't sell..

Re: Have you sold your stock Lattitudes?

I traded mine in toward new LTX M/S 2's. It took a lot of leg work. Chains and indies met web new tire prices. I investigated selling Latitudes to used tire stores. Finally got best deal on new tires with trade from an independent. He demanded no more than 10,000 miles on Latitudes. Did the deal this morning at 9540 miles.

I sold mine in one day on craigslist for $380 for the set of 4 with the factory 18" rims, I had about 3500 miles on them. I had about 5-6 calls all wanting to buy them so you shouldn't have any trouble.

Yeah, I realized after I sold them so quickly that I should have asked more. I was happy with what I got though.

Re: Have you sold your stock Lattitudes?

Discount Tire gave me $75@ for them (including the spare) when I traded them in on 265/65/18 Goodyear Silent Armors. I had just over 100 miles on them. Personally, I felt it was well worth it to avoid the hassle of selling them myself.

Re: Have you sold your stock Lattitudes?

Discount Tire offered me like $30/ea with less than 200mi on them. I said 'no thanks' - have yet to put them on eBay though. For $120 I can find someone to take them.

sold mine for $350 for the set on craigslist too with 5000 miles on them. I really dont think you can get more than $100 a piece for them since you can find them new for $160-$170
