Help with tire question

Hey everyone,
So I have my stock laredo tires on and I'm looking to go bigger to the 275/65R18 MT or AT tires. As I increase in size, with most tires the speed rating declines to "Q" and the load index increases. It is okay if I run a slightly lower speed rating and increase my load index? Is this pretty standard due to the tire being a mud tire? Thanks for the help...!

Greetings,

If I remembered correctly with Q speed rating do not drive at high speeds above the rating no more than 10 minutes or the problems start. Some say as much as 30 minutes, but for the MT I would keep to 10. If an MT tire is not balanced correctly and you have problems at a lower speed for sure do not go above the Q limit. Otherwise, you should be fine.

The load index should not matter and for the size, their are many threads here with the pros and cons.

Happy trails.

Best for now.
