How do the black wheels stand up to the elements?

They're only painted wheels. As long as you stay away from car washes with brushes and treat them as a regular painted surface you should get many years out of them.

I waxed mine right before winter with Meguiars black wax to help protect them.

Re: How do the black wheels stand up to the elements?

The inexpensive black wheels from Discount Tire on my JK are 6 years old and still look new when washed. The salt on the roads here has not hurt them. Every bolt and the frame is showing rust but not the wheels.
