Re: How Low Can You Go?

Saw 3 degrees Sunday night when I landed in Detroit. Leather seats were like slabs, heard some new squeaks, rattles, and under hood noises (as well as some driver moans and groans), but at least it was still on the positive end of the temp scale.

Do you guys who have a block heater actually use them? Always wondered about that ...

Re: How Low Can You Go?

I have the block heater, but did not use it and will probably never do.
The Hemi started very smoothly every morning with the remote start.
I have had my Jeep for only a couple of days so far, and it has been snowing since then.
It is just the right truck to play in the snow.
I am very very very happy with my purchase!

Sport mode in a Walmart yard with snow everywhere is so much fun...

cool to see others going low, i was looking for some artic temps from our brothers in the great white north

my shots above are from "icebox of the nation" near Fraser, Colorado. we usually compete with the dakotas, upper minnesota, upstate NY, etc for coldest place in the US about 1/4 of the days during winter. WK2 hasn't flinched and I don't have a block heater, yet.

Sitting in the parking lot tonight waiting on my wife, I scrolled through them all and read the little Evic blurb on each one. I probably never would've found that myself.

Re: How Low Can You Go?

Sorry for the shitty photo, I was driving 79mph and taking camera phone pictures in the dark at 5am. I originally started digging for my phone when the temp said -5, but in the 1-2 minutes it took me to get it out and ready, it was already back to 0. Maybe I can win the highest speed in the freezing f*cking cold while taking photos award.

Can't resist. This was in my 2007 WK.

That was a brutal night in Massachusetts!
