I'm not saying they were SpiderTrax.... I'm saying the guy from SpiderTrax told me that spacers that work on a WK1 won't work on a WK2, yet the Bora spacers are good for ALL grand cherokees according to that site.

Re: I Want Spacers

The WK2 suspension seems to be much more sensitive to tire balance and defects than others. Many here that have used spacers or smaller offset wheels have seen the issue amplified. Just saying that if you don't have near perfectly balanced wheels and tires you will eventually be taking the spacers off.

Generally spacers will increase the turning circle a bit, if that is any importance to you. The increase in roll angle is negligible. There will be more clearance between tire and suspension but less to fenders.

Re: I Want Spacers

On my jk i liked the rims but need a LiL more Clarence so i done some reading on spacers (pros and cons) the only thing that would be an issue would be Non hub/wheel centric, Improper installation, out of balance tires, suspension out of alignment, loose connections in the suspension, and buying Cheap spacers!!! I am not an expert at all but properly installed spacers and good quality are just as safe as mounting tires IMO

Thanks for the info. I just spoke with Lenny and am going to give these a try also. Love the OEM 20" wheel but I'm anxious to push them out a little. Wish this wheel was a 20x9, so maybe this is the answer. Look forward to hearing about your experience and seeing pictures. I'll do the same when I get them and install.

Re: I Want Spacers

Ok got them installed today Quality=Great the packaging was great you can tell they take pride in them not a blemish on them. "0" slop when they are on the rim as in hub to hub. they say do not use anti sez but with all the road salt they put on the roads in Chicago i put a Thin coat on this would be my third set of wheel spacers i have bought "1st for the WK2" the first set was some off the wall co. that i through out due to S&@* quality 2nd was Spidertrax good product But these are Hands down the best i have seen out their to dark for after shots but this is a few shots of the spacers

Re: I Want Spacers

Nice! I'm fired up to get mine, thanks for the follow up. I'm assuming your last two shots are before and after? Hard to tell in the pictures- can you post more looking down the side of your Jeep? Thanks.

Re: I Want Spacers

JMP - That does look like what I'm looking for. How's the ride quality now that you have them on? Notice any difference? Al

Also was that $225 for all 4 or for just a pair?
