Re: I Want Spacers

So I have a '15 Limited with factory 20s.

To avoid any need for modification/cutting, I should go with 1.25 rather than 1?

Does anybody anticipate trouble if I combine the 1.25 with eibach springs?

I PM'd a couple guys about the 1" spacers and they said they had no issues installing them...

I tried the 1" on my 14 overland with factory 20s and they would not work without having to chop studs. F that so I sent them back for the 1.25. I Just received the replacements today and looking to install them this weekend. Sorry can't answer question about them with eibach springs.

Has anyone found ANY spacers for sale that would work for our WK2's?

Coming from the Audi scene before moving to Jeep, making the face of the wheels flush with the lip of the fender makes the "stance" look great.

Anyone know of any options? I contacted SpiderTrax and they said they don't make anything for the WK2, which is different than the WK.
I have had many fender flush rims and I love that look.. but I am not feeling it on this model.. SRT hell yes...

Skinnier tires are recommended for winter tires. The fatter the tire the more snow it needs to push out of the way. Thinner tires will cut through like a knife.

Re: I Want Spacers

So, I'm looking to put the 1.25 on a '14 overland with either stock tires or 275/55 and I' wondering about gravel. Some of you have mentioned this could be a problem, with the set-up I mentioned above, should I be worried about rocks being kicked up and destroying my paint?

I have had the 1.25" spacers on for a little over 3 months now. I have not had any damage from gravel or rocks, but I definitely get more dirt and mud splattered on the lower portion of the sides of the Jeep.

Thanks! I wonder if some mudflaps would solve that. I really want the wider stance, but am afraid the mud and dirt would wear ruin the paint.

Well, they may help with the mud spray, but they look god awful, especially with the wider stance. (IMHO).

Yeah? I haven't seen any pictures with them on, so I'll have to check them out. Have you had any issues with QL and rubbing? Is there sufficient room for flexing when going on rough roads?

He doesn't have QL. But there is no rubbing with stock tires or slightly oversized. You should be ok with the 275/55/20 or 285/50/20's but I'll let someone with QL and larger tires verify that.

As stated, I don't have QL. I have the standard suspension, now with a leveling kit. Running 275/55R20 tires, I have no rubbing in any conditions.

Here are some pics. how something looks is simply a matter of taste, they just aren't to my taste. If you like the look, go for it. It's your Jeep.
