Thinking about going with spacers just for a slightly different stance. I need to research more. I just want a plug and play. Don't want to cut studs or anything.

I'm assuming the stock wheel locks will still work with spacers??

Re: I Want Spacers

Calling Motorsport Tech tomorrow to get my questions answered and probably order the 1.25" spacers.

Re: I Want Spacers

Just ordered my spacers. It was between this and wrapping the chrome window trim. I just can't bring myself to spending money that I can't get back anymore. I spent so much money on my Rubicon that I lost. I think this will have a more dramatic effect on the look of my Jeep. I guess I am growing up. Or maybe growing old.

Good call. More aggressive tire/wheel combo will have a much bigger visual effect that blacked window trim.

Since I'm planning on keeping the stock HA wheels, my fear is the 265's will look ridiculous with spacers. I don't plan on changing tires at the moment.

I think it will look good. Throw some pictures up once they're on there.

Bump for tech answers and not random chatting. I took all the o-rings off.

Got a bit of a wobble in my steering wheel after the spacer install, but only between about 60 and 70. I spend a lot of my commute there, so I'd like to figure out the issue.

This is what I wanted to avoid. If I get any type of wobble these will be going back or up for sale.

Re: I Want Spacers

Hey guys,

This is my first post even though I've just been lurking through this forum for quite some time now. I've gone through this thread because 1, I'm looking to get spacers for my 15 JGC, and 2, looking for an answer to my question. I have a limited diesel with the stock 18s. On them I have 275/65R18 Terra Grappler G2. Stock height, I'm still contemplating on RRO lift or leveling. Anywho, does anyone happen to know if a 1.5 bora spacers work on my current setting? Or will there be rubbing? If it's minor work to prevent from rubbing, I'll work with that. I know most of you from this thread that everyone seems to go with the 1.25 spacers. It looks great, I just want a little more sticking out I guess. I'm dying to make the purchase, this is just holding me from pulling the trigger.

Yeah, I wouldn't say it looks 'great' from behind, but from the side the Jeep looks better. I think a 1" spacer would be the sweet spot, but then you'd have to cut the stock studs.

I'd much prefer SRT wheels, but $200 was a lot cheaper than $1300 for 20x10s and tires, plus winter tires on the stock wheels.

Re: I Want Spacers

What issues might arise if I run 275 tires and 1.25 spacers??
