Re: I Want Spacers

I ordered them before I got my truck. I like the way my truck sits now. If in the future I do decide to space the wheels out.. ill re-purchase.. I will sell for the amount I paid (Saves you the wait time). PM ME if interested..

Hey peejym, they're a bit late but as promised here are some pics with my 1.5" spacers with stock 20" wheels. I am really happy with how they look. Only downside is that I get more spray from the tires now if I go through water.

Re: I Want Spacers

After 35k-40k miles, I took my 1.5 spacers off the other day. They were seized to the brake rotors and took me a good 5-10min of hammering and chiseling for each one to brake them free. I realized I don't hate the factory stance like I thought I did before. And while some angles the spacers looked better. There were quite a few angles where the wheels were too spaced out for the tire size and lift. It feels better now without the unsprung weight, and it's easier on the wheel bearings, the suspension spring rate will be back to normal, and the tires are MUCH quieter. Not sure if this is because the scrub radius is back to normal, or the wheel spacers affected the toe alignment when going down the road. Either way I'm sure the tires will wear better now. First pic is with the spacers and next two are without. The last pics are to show how bad I had to chisel away at them to get them off. This will make brake jobs a pain.

BORA spacers. Also thought I would add the steering is more smooth now. No more vibration at highway speed. The steering wheel would shake a little and wander, I thought it was because of the tire, or the RRO lift but no it was the wheel spacers.

Re: I Want Spacers

Who has some high mileage on these spacers? Wondering what kind of damage people are seeing if any.

Of course the 275/55 fits without issue. Went specifically with limited as I didn't want quadralift and can run an actual lift with out being electronically forced to lower it over 30 mph.

Looking at either the nitto terragrappler or exograppler, as these are about 10 lbs lighter than the

Any insight would be appreciated...
I have the same Jeep as you.....did you ever lift it and install spacers? I'd love to see some pics.
