Re: I Want Spacers

So I installed my bora spacers yesterday, 1.25" in the back and 1" in the front...love the new stance, really makes an aggressive difference, was just curious for any of you who have them, as far as checking torque down the line or any crazy horror stories, Bora says to check torque after 5 miles but I was just curious on anybody else's methods...thanks in advance...here are some pics...

Looks good. Can't wait to install mine.
I have a question. I just bought some used ones; so could you tell me what the instructions say for torquing?
Thanks.

Thanks...Well according to the instructions, you should torque the spacers to the same pounds as your wheels, which in my case the car manual said 130lbs of torque.
Also a lot of people said to use a bit of anti-seize on the back of spacer and studs to prevent corrosion from salt and stuff

Re: I Want Spacers

Another 75th anniversary with 1.25" BORA spacers. It looks about perfect to me! My RRO lift should be here next week and then I need to decide on some tires. I like the Falken Wildpeak A/T 3 in a 275/55 R20 size.

FYI: the 75th anniversary 20" wheels DO have pockets on the mounting pad to accept the factory mounting studs. You do not have to cut the factory mounting studs when using a 1.25" spacer.

Yessss!!! Forgot to mention that, at first they were going on right but just wiggle the tire back and forth and push and it'll pop right in...scared me at first...haha

Just put them on today. I just picked up the Jeep last weekend and hope to have the RRO lift and tires installed next weekend.

I drove it a bit today and tomorrow I'll pull the tires back off and retorque everything.
