Re: I Want Spacers

D slide - one other question: are you Overland rims polished or hyper silver?

Not sure what hyper silver looks like, but mine are the standard Overland wheel which I assume are polished.

Re: I Want Spacers

Kevster, I thought about buying yours, but I wanted the 1.25's. I'm hoping to have to avoid cutting my studs down as well. I ordered the 1.25's from Lenny over at Motorsport Tech.

Re: I Want Spacers

DSlide - I was checking out your photo album and I was wondering, in photos 006 and "side after", you're at the same angle as in photos 013 and 017. Your Jeep looks so much different. Is the only difference the addition of the spacers? Are you at a different ride height in those photos? Man, I'm hoping that I get that kind of milage out of my BORAs. Keep in mind I don't have the adjustable ride height.
Any chance you could take a measurement from the ground to the front and then rear fender tops in normal ride height? I'm wondering if they're the same as mine. It might convince me to upgrade to the Overland 20's and Terra Grapplers.

Re: I Want Spacers

Bump. How about some reports on how things are going for those that bought spacers.

Any issues? Wobbles? Bolts need re-tightening?

Re: I Want Spacers

I've been running 1.25 BORA's for about 3 weeks and haven't had a single issue. Rides exactly like stock.

Wait, so these won't work on the Altitude wheels either (also the 20" 10 spoke, just painted black)?

Re: I Want Spacers

You probably need 1.25 - 1.50" wheel spacer thickness. The wheel studs on the GC are quite long.

Re: I Want Spacers

Stock GC wheels have pockets on the back so the studs can stick out and no cutting needed. If your back pad on the wheel is flat you will need 1.25"-1.5" without trimming the studs.
