Icon Coilovers Noise???

I spoke with someone from Icon today about their adjustable coil overs for the WK2. I'm not sure if this guy didn't like the company he worked for or was just being honest. He almost turned me off these coil overs by telling me they would increase the noise in the vehicle by a substantial amount. He did say they would give two more inches of downward wheel travel (I'm not sure if they loose any compression travel?) and he said they would improve the ride quality even though they have stiffer springs but he possibly unsold them to me with his warning about increased noise. He said this was due to the metal components of the shock transmuting noise through the unibody vehicle structure.

Is anyone running these? can one one confirm or negate this? and comment on ride quality?

I put similar adjustable coil overs on my tacoma (and took of the sway bar), they may have even been Icons, and it made the vehicle an entirely new beast. Better ride, better wheel travel, better handling and all around more capable. I would hope these could do the same for my GC. and I will definitely be loosing the sway bars if I get them….
