Is Chrysler Lying about wheel travel on the Grand Cherokee???
I asked Jeep how much wheel travel my vehicle had and they said 8.7" in front and 10.2" in rear. I do not have nivomats as they may be a little longer and even give more wheel travel, I do not know.
But I have OME rear shocks with significantly more travel than my OE shocks and I only measure 9" from tire to bottom of outside fender. I may bet a little more travel as tire goes up into the fender but not much. Basically I probably have about 10.2" of travel with the aftermarket shocks.
Is anyone interested in measuring their droop travel from tire to top of wheel well and seeing if 10.2" is even possible with OEM shocks?
