I have a 2014 summit and would like my jeep to sit lower in entry/exit mode to make it easier to get in and out and look nicer too I like the slammed look in park. Idc about adjusting the height in any other mode. Anyone know if there's a way to do this?
I think there might be a way but it might be both incidental to your request and possibly with unintended consequences.
People have been dropping the ride heights of their Quadra Lift cars for 2 years bow using some special links that basically fool the computers to stop the suspension at different ride heights.
Look for that in the suspension forum.
However, dropping the car much lower than the current setting will likely damage it in the long run.
Unless the LLAMS unit can do it, I don't believe you can adjust just one level. Using sensor link sizing affects all levels because it merely changes "normal" and the other heights are all relative to "normal". I will tell you that the approximately 1" I've lowered mine using the links makes for a very comfortable park/entry height...which is the primary reason I did it.
Correct Jim. With LLAMS you would need to select (or have automatically activated) Entry/Exit, plus activate the LLAMS low position. Out of the box, there's at least one manual step to achieve the OP's wants.
FWIW, if you leave LLAMS low, it's only a "problem" when you reach Aero speed, or select Sport. Then geometry is negatively impacted. Prior to that:
NRH + LLAMS low = Sport (approx)
So you can do a bit of dawdling around without messing with the LLAMS control.
Jim did you notice any sacrifice in ride quality at all? Or anything worth mentioning? I wouldn't mind having it an inch lower without any real consequences. Perhaps could also level the back this way? Would like to know more and how easy and how expensive that mod is? I've read briefly about it but couldn't get any concrete information about it
One inch doesn't seem to negatively affect either ride quality or alignment geometry. Yes, you can "level" if you prefer that...it's a matter of correctly calculating the sensor link length. "Leveling" can potentially negatively affect fuel economy, however...a tiny bit, but it does affect it.
^^^ I had mine lowered for a year using my links and I did not notice any negative effects whatsoever. It was only approximately a 1" drop in all modes. From what I read on this forum, the Jeep is aligned while in aero mode. So if most driving is in normal ride height, technically using these links would put you closer to aligned specs....that is if most of your driving is around town. If you do all highway miles in aero mode then you would be slightly out of spec in the other direction (similar to how normal ride height is compared to alignment in aero mode). Even though it's only an inch, visually you can really see the difference, and like Jim said you can really feel that difference getting in and out of the car. Best of all it's a simple mod that takes less than 10 minutes to do with no tools, and can be reversed at any time.
Even though I no longer have my Jeep, I am still willing to make these links if there is anyone else interested. PM me.

Yea look at my picture below. That's with the custom links JTS did for me. After I got mine I lowered it and adjusted even more but I raised it back up to the recommended drop that the links JTS makes for you. It was just tool low and back tires were very visibly negative camber. If you have JTS make them, stick to that length.
