Re: Issue with air suspension on new GC Overland

IIRC, the recommended pressure is around 36, so it sounds like you went from too high to too low, so it might be noticeable.

Check the sticker inside the driver side door well or your manual for correct pressure.

Did you change the tire size? If so, that can impact the ride feel.

I *think* the jack mode will raise the vehicle and it would obvious something is wrong. It should have jack instructions in the manual. That said, just get in and put it in park level (or raise it from park level). If it changes, your not in jack mode.

So yes I agree that a car has a requirement for tire pressure but the ride of the car depends on shocks and springs not tire pressure. Tire pressure will affect grip, which is why I don't think it's the biggest factor here. The air suspension needs to be disabled before jacking the car up and down as it will auto correct itself even when the vehicle is off. So in the uconnect settings there is a tire/jack mode which disables the air suspension in order to safely be able to jack the car up and down. Enabling that to jack the car up should not have effected the ride of the vehicle. After installing the new wheels I took tire and Jack mode off so that the air suspension was enabled. It is working properly as it still raises and lowers for auto entry/exit mode and for normal ride height and aero ride height so it is working it's just bouncy when it shouldn't be for instance when cruising on a flat road at 35 or 40. It feels like driving a boat in the water

I have a 2014 Summit with less than 5000 miles. The air suspension system won't raise at all. Received no warning or error messages at all. Taking to the dealership tomorrow.
