Re: Jeep grand cherokee rubicon

Supply and demand my friend, they are a dime a dozen here. People will ask over a grand for them but after a few days they will take anything to get them out of the garage.

Just got them rotated today, not much wear on them.

Nice!

I really wish Jeep would do a JGC Rubicon model w/the front ELSD re-added and rails included. Oh well...

Re: Jeep grand cherokee rubicon

I like this set-up, looks great. How much clearance b/t brakes and rim? Do you have the "HD" brakes? I have the 18' oem rims and it doesn't look like I have a half inch to play with.

Re: Jeep grand cherokee rubicon

Anyone running this wheel with a 265/70/17? Should come in a tad smaller diameter wise (31.6"). So many more options in this size (Zeons, Bajas, etc...) Any problems anyone can think of???

Re: Jeep grand cherokee rubicon

Hi, I am new to this site, first post! I am ordering a 2014 GC Limited and want to have the Rubicon rims supplied from new. The dealer is telling me they won't fit as the rims have a different offset. How did you go fitting them? Any spacers? How do they go fitting over the brake callipers?
Pete

I have the V6 so I do not have the HD brakes. All I have is the rocky road leveling kit. The tires and wheels fit perfectly. No spacers, no rubbing.

Offset or backspacing its just the measurement of the rear outer edge of the wheel to where the wheel contacts the hub... So just get a long ruler or piece of wood and place it on the outer edge of the wheel then measure from there to the mounting point.
