Just test drove an Overland w/5.7 and it did not have Guadra Lift... It is an option even on the Top End Overland. 45K for this vehicle is ridiculous anyhow!

The new Overlands like the one I ordered has Quadra Lift as a standard feature. The early build Overlands didn't come through with them because it was a later availability option. However, now that Quadra lift is standard the base price increase a little.

Seems this dealership is not too well versed on the features of the Overland. The front specification list in the current brochure states that it is standard yet in the last few pages of the same brochure, it states that Quadra Lift is an option.... We liked the vehicle - nice all around and very comfortable - but my '05 would stomp it! Maybe too new and stiff?

It's an "option" because you have to "opt" for the 4x4. It doesn't come on the 4x2. As of late June, every Overland 4x4 ordered will show up with Quadra-Lift. They began rolling off the assembly line on the 9th.

Yes, that's exactly what the dealer just called and told me. I'm thinking that anyone who does their homework on the Overland, its options and standard equipment, is going to somewhat hesitant to buy the first series Overland (July delivery) without Quadra-Lift; especially at the same base price - $41.2k. It takes eight weeks for a special order with what you desire on the truck - and the 5.7 Hemi and Inferno Red are among them! Might wait for the clad 20's too.

The Overland models built w/o Quadra-Lift were $1095 cheaper as Jeep adjusted the MSRP accordingly.

Overland intro MSRP price = $42,215
Less credit for no QL <-$1095>
Adjusted intro MSRP: $41,120

Overland MSRP price increase in July: +$1095.00 (QL added as Standard)
Adjusted MSRP = $42,215
Less credit for Garmin replacing RER nav radio <-$305>
New MSRP = $41,910

Found a Laredo X with QL

So it looks like you can order them as they do exist. You can find this one in Worcester, MA.

Why not spend an extra 2000-3000 to get the Overland then pay all that an X after you add the Off-road package etc.

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

There maybe a few X's out there with QL, but they haven't been available to order for at least two weeks. It's frustrating!

Milous, After another month has gone by, just wondering if you have any more news about the Quadra-Lift restriction on Limited and Laredo X.

I have a dealer emailing to Jeep about the same issue. If I hear news, I'll post here.

Thanks.

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

FWIW: I have seen sticker for Laredo X V6 with QL - it was a part of one of the Offroad packages I think
