As of Oct. 12, my dealer still cannot get any commitment from Chrysler/Jeep about the availability of a Limited with Quadra-Lift anytime soon, despite their sales literature and web site builds that could be made back in the early summer.
So after waiting on an order for a Limited with Q-L to become possible since July 5, I am giving up on that. Switching to an Overland with ORGII. I have not heard how long this will take for delivery, but what's a few more months?
I just hope the Overland restrictions that some people have reported don't make the wait even more unbearable.
Blood pressure still sky-high...

For those interested, it appears that the logjam finally cleared on Oct. 13 late afternoon, according to this thread:
http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=13973

So, Laredo X and Limited may finally be available with Q-L.

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

I just bought a Laredo X with Quadra Lift and Quarda Drive 2 days ago. There are a couple out there but I was told that those components were being allocated mostly to the Overlands.

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

So you have a WK2 with standard suspension and one with QL? Have you driven them both a lot yet? Can you tell a difference? How does body roll, etc, compare?

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

There are mixed reviews about the suspensions. Some reviews say the QL is a stiffer ride than the regular suspension. Others say the QL is a softer ride.....I think they are about equal if you take a regular suspension with 17-18" tires versus the QL with 20" tires.

Re: Laredo X w/ Quadra Lift

The standard suspension on my Limited seems a little stiffer then the Laredo with Quadra Lift. The one thing I have noticed is that when I accelerate the quadra lift seems to sag a little in the rear at first then levels out once I have reached speed. Where the Limited standard suspension seems to stay more consistant in acceleration. I dropped the 1/2" down to Sport mode and it seemed to help slightly. It's not a problem by any means, just what I noticed since I drive both.

I've driven a regular suspension with 18" rims, a regular with 20" rims, and my Overland with QL and 20" rims. Heck if I can tell any difference in ride quality.
