Lift or level?

I'm getting close to being ready for either a lift or a level and had some questions for those that have done either.

I'm not doing any hard core wheeling but I do have a couple areas where I go for either fishing or shooting that get me back into some rough areas. The last time I went out shooting the area required me to cross an old river bed. The only issue I had was some rubbing on the front lower bumper. The underside was untouched and the rear never came close. I believe an extra inch or inch and a half of lift would fix the problem.

I was looking at the RRO 1.75" level kit but am worried about rear end squat. I load out the read when I go out sometimes and I do have the load leveling suspension but am worried about that nose high look when loaded down. I also like a slight bit of rake. Anyone with just the level kit have this problem or any input?

The 2.5" lift is a bit more than I wanted or needed but if the nose is going to be high with just the level I'll go with the lift. Those with the lift why did you pick this option over the level?

Thanks.

Airborne - I'm wondering about the same questions. What did you wind up going with?

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

What's in the tow package that wont let it sag in the rear?

I am also have the same issues & concerns as the OP as I tow a small caravan at times & when I do it sits level (caravan plus loaded rear & full tank of fuel) though would like it to sit higher in the front & be almost level unladen or maybe a bit lower to allow for the rear to sag when loaded.

If they made a 1 inch level kit that would prob be perfect for me however they don't do you have any pics of yours with the kit & how do you find it with the kit as opposed to standard?

Re: Lift or level?

I went with the RRO leveling kit on my 2012 WK2 and couldn't be more happier , Same ride more clearance ,its all a win win ,I too go on some light trails ,logging road crossing creeks and climbing steep hills and its has all been great! No regrets on my end

Re: Lift or level?

Yours looks Awesome Bart Man Do you ever load it up in the rear & does it sag to a point where the rear is lower than the front?

I so want to do this as well however am worried it will look rear down when loaded a small amount would not bother me however anything more than an inch lower in the rear than the front would scare the crap out of me well maybe scare is a strong word lol but it would concern me.

What to do

Re: Lift or level?

Hi Bart Man,
I would love to see a pic of yours now with the trailer on as it looks to be sitting level in the Pic when you had not raised the front just as mine does now when we have the caravan on as ours drops an inch when we hook up.
