Guys,

Just like the title says, Ive recently lifted my GC and added wheels/tires and am still bored with it. I am considering getting rid of it. Its a lease so I really would like for someone to take over the lease as that would be the cleanest for everyone.

Is there a spot on this forum to post cars for sale? I saw an area for parts but not for vehicles? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are a couple pics.

You can either remove it and go back to stock or if you like the GC and want to keep it you can purchase it from Jeep. The purchase price is the residual value assigned when I signed the lease.

If you remove it you could just post it for sale here and get the money back.

You're bored with it? That sucks.

What are you looking to replace it with that the Jeep isn't doing for you?

Not trying to troll, I'm just curious. I dig the look of the mods you've done.

I know its crazy right? To be honest I have not really liked the Jeep for a while and figured maybe lifting it and adding wheels/tires would help me find it more appealing. It did a little bit but not enough to feel like I want to keep it for 2 more years.

My biggest issue with it is the power train. This 5 speed is the worse automatic Ive ever owned. The gearing is not set up well with the power/torque output of the engine and the gearing so its constantly in between gears. It just cant decide what gear it needs to be in. I know I should have purchased the V8 and that probably would have fixed that but I didnt. The steering is also very numb and makes it pretty boring to drive.

We already have another SUV in the family, an Audi Q7 so I dont really need another SUV. Finally my last car was an M5 so you can image the difference in the driving experience.

The only reason for me to keep it is that I ski and am up on the mountain every week and its a pain in the ass trading cars with my wife whenever I want to hit the slopes (this is the main reason I made the purchase to begin with). I figured I can spend a few grand on an old Toyota Land Cruiser or 4-Runner for my winter rig and get back into a more fun DD.

Sorry for the long winded answer.

I would take a look at a TJ or LJ along with Landcruiser and 4 Runner. You can have fun building a TJ or LJ.

I have no issues with the 5 spd and Pentastar coming from BMWs especially M3s and track day 3 series. BMW and Audi dont have anything with the offroad capabilities I need. When my GC needs replacing in 2017 I take a serious look at Land Rovers Discovery series of vehicles and the range Rover Sport.

Thanks for the recommendations. Ill consider but I really want something that can hall 4 people and i can put a box on top for the winter.

Depending on where you live the gearing may be just fine. I live in the NW so i have a lot of hills etc.. and thats where the V8 would have been a better choice. Oh well. Dont get me wrong its a nice rig but just not for me.
