I like it.

It's got that sort of old world breeding and sophistication commonly associated with vintage Aston Martins.

OK, it looks badass.
The paint job no longer does it justice if one must be picky.
Maybe a set of sharks teeth in that blank space below the grill?
A set of green horns from Counting Cars?

Re: Lifted my wk2 4" - Breaking the internet - FOUR INCHES!

Needless to say, this is not "ideal".....
I knew that going in. Its testing, thats all. I would not recommend this setup to anyone.

Im in need of a wheel rebalance, so I am going to take care of that and see if it alleviates some of my issues. Also, I was told by my alignment shop that I managed to slightly bend both my outer tie rods ( I totally know when this happened, it was fun). Just a bit, but it may be coming in to play with the drivability. Im going to swap those out. Once those things are done, ill re-evaluate the driveability part and then I will go ahead and test it offroad a bit to see what was lost.

Im still happy with where we are. I know now that 4" is achievable and am working on moving forward (talking to a couple companies) in regards to making this a full kit with components designed to work with eachother.

Stay tuned and subscribe to the thread...ill update every chance i get.

Re: Lifted my wk2 4" - Breaking the internet - FOUR INCHES!

700 mile road trip in the books and....

DONT do this mod. lol. The geometry of the suspension is now out of whack and bump steer is a big issue. However, I knew that possibility going in..and its good data to have while designing a new setup.

Already working on the changes.

The good news... Im working with four potential manufacturers on this. All have shown great and immediate interest in bringing a functional version of this to the market. Of course, ill update the board when more information is available
