Re: Liking the new SRT wheels over the spider monkeys.

There are two new options for 305/35/22 so no worries there.

Lionhart and Lexani both make that size now. Not Pirelli's but they'll do at 1/4th the cost lol.

I ordered the Lexanis unfortunately...I don't have time to wait for Pirelli or Vred to make a batch. We'll see how they are. I've gotten mixed reviews on them..primarily hit or miss with vibration.

Chances are it's the wheels causing the vibration. I have the Pirelli's and I get slight vibration at 75mph. Honestly some of these aftermarket wheels can't be balanced perfect no matter how hard you try.

Tires can cause vibrations as well but I've heard good things about the lionharts and lexani's. I will be replacing my Pirelli's with them to give them a shot once they wear out.

22's isn't for me. Don't want to do the winter tire swap again like I did with my old summer car which is now my beater car because of driving it in the winter gave it cancer(rust). 20's is the biggest wheel I would go.

I drove through the last two winters on 22's and all seasons with no issues. Plenty of sidewall and no issues with getting stuck anywhere.

Last two winters have been weak. Not saying it can't be done I just choose not to.

I wound up buying a set of 18" "take-offs" from my local dealer, for the Michelin Premiers that I bought for summer use. Had the BBS wheels come in a 9 or 9.5" rim width, there would have been no question, and I would have spent the extra $$$ for them.
