Load leveling shocks source

Anyone find another place to purchases these expensive shocks. I have only found them at the dealer, there has to another distributor.

From my search they are made by Sachs and I believe their part number to 444-241.

Re: Load leveling shocks source

Pretty sure I have answered my own question, still looking for better price and any input from you guys. Here is what I found.

Dealer cost for shocks. $488 ea, and says must replace as set. Total of $976.
Called Sachs to confirm part number and they gave me few dealers to try, only one so far was helpful.

Welcome to Triangle Auto Supply, the best source for auto parts in Yakima WA in WA state, Im in Fl.
Their price $244 and I can buy one if I wanted, but I plan to replace both. Do the math here,,,,,,,,,, the dealer price is exactly double!!!!!!! Triangle doesn't stock them but will drop ship from the manufacturer.

Re: Load leveling shocks source

I have a set of load leveling shocks that I recently removed and replaced with non-load leveling shocks. They have around 10k miles on them if you are interested

Re: Load leveling shocks source

is it only a shock swap, or must you swap other hardware as well?

Re: Load leveling shocks source

I think there are a set or 2 in the for sale forums.
If you dont have LL shocks, I believe you will need the upper shock mounts specifically for them

Load leveling shocks source

You will need LL shock mounts which ARE different from non load leveling. I believe the bump stops are different as well.
