Low Pro Mud

So I ordered the diesel earlier this week and its time to start thinking about mods. First on my list is a set of 22" wheels. I'm stuck in the city around DC and doubt I'll ever see any offroading. Instead of using the normal low pro tires I'd really like to get a set of low pro mud terrains. I know this defeats the purpose of MT but its purely for looks. I've done a few searches on the web and think the Kuhmo Road Venture MT KL71 is about what I want. Anyone have any pics of a similar setup? I'd rather not lift the jeep so Im hoping these will fit. If anyone knows otherwise let me know.

Re: Low Pro Mud

Not to sound like a dick, but you know going with a tire like that will make the vehicle ride worse, have more road noise, less fuel economy, and far more expensive just for "looks"?

If you have your heart set on something like that, the tire diameter should be no larger than 32 inches. That particular tire only comes in a 37" diameter in 22" wheel size according to:

Yep I know its not very economical. I like the look and just wanted to know if it could be done.

Re: Low Pro Mud

No pot holes or construction in DC either. Must be nice.

Re: Low Pro Mud

No, you can't put a 37x13.5" tire on a WK2.

I know this isnt for everyone and might not make the most sense. Ive had mt on a gc with stock wheels and 22's with low pro street tires in the past. This time around I just wanted the best of bith worlds.
