Lowering 14' with load leveling shocks.

I got the tow package on my 14' limited with load leveling rear. Do I have to do anything special to lower the car? My last car had load leveling shocks and the shock mount had to be raised the same amount as the drop springs lowered the car or the shocks would just jack the car up back to factory height.

I figure I either have to lower it or put running boards on it so my wife can climb in. I'd much rather lower it and have it look good

Any help appreciated, and suggestions for lowering springs too

Edit: Did some reading and the load levelers can't be used in their factory mounting location. Haven't looked at the shock mounts yet, can the upper shock mount be raised, or the lower shock mount be lowered???

Edit2: Can air helper bags be added to the rear with non load leveling shocks?

I am in a similar sit. Let me know if you learn anything new. So far it looks like removing the self leveling shocks is the only way to go.
