Re: Lowering kit

I make my wheel center to lip 18.75 front and 20" rear. I also have the lightest GC, a stock V6 4x2 Laredo with 7/8 tank of gas. A 2" drop would be nice.

Reading the Eiback specs, after a realignment expect slightly more positive front caster and negative rear camber , both within about .2 deg of spec.

In counterpoint a "big" GM FWD car runs about 2 deg negative in the rear with no adverse wear.

I would strongly suggest a four wheel alignment after changing the springs.

They also mention 2.5 hours for the job. If doing in your driveway, I would at least double that. Maybe more.

One thing that bothers me. A loaded TOL 4x4 Hemi is at least 1,000 lbs heavier than a base V6 4x2 Laredo, yet many of the specs. and performance figures make no or little distinction. I do not understand this.

Re: Lowering kit

The write ups I've seen for eibach does differentiate between the 6's and 8's (if I read your post correctly). I can't grab the link right now (responding from my phone), but there is another thread on this subject where five.7 put some great information. I also recently updated that thread with my recent eibach install on my 6 cyl including pics of the drop.

Re: Lowering kit

My '12 4x4 with 5.7 after Eibach install is 16.5" front and 18.5" rear from center cap to fender lip.
Eibach is looking into why the stance is off from their demo vehicle. Should have more info in a week or so.

keep me posted on what you find out......I have about a 1.5" difference from front to rear. It's not bad but I wish it was level.

have you seen this data sheet?
