I can't get on tire rack at the moment but from memory it was around $500 for the set of 4 and the availability date was 31 may I think...

Update... Just checked on Tirerack, $480.00 and estimated availability 31 May 2013

Re: Lowering kits for 2011 grand cherokee?? Help please!

With the new shocks coming out I'm pretty sure I just found my next mod. Any market for used load leveling shocks?

Thanks for the update.
Now can we get Eibach to make some monster sway bars.

I wouldn't mind some adjustable ball joints or something to be able to have a bit more range in the camber also

Will these new shocks be load leveling? Anyone lower a 4x4 Larado with the Eibach kit. (Yes I am aware of the stigma associated with lowering a 4x4) Thanks, and flame suit on.

No they won't be load leveling. Question, did they make any of the 4x4's without the air suspension? If you have the air suspension you can't use the Eibach springs.

I've got a lowered 2011 limited 4x4, but I'm in Australia so export options may have been different, we only get the 4x4 out here and I know of a few others without air suspension

You can get the Larado without air. I have the quadra trac II with tow package. The leveling is going to be the issue.

Mine also had the load leveling shocks.....I just replaced the rear shocks with the standard non-leveling shocks. You will also need the standard upper mounts.....they are different.

Not sure if you really need the load leveling feature.....do you tow anything?
I have a track car that I plan to tow once its finished and if need be I'll install some "helper" air bags on the rear.

Also, I'm not sure if you know how the load leveling works but its just a self contained system inside the shock......just remove and replace.....done.

Re: Lowering kits for 2011 grand cherokee?? Help please!

Thanks for the info. Track car or small trailer is all I tow. I am not sure I want to mess with a bag and give up the leveling. I will have to think about it after I put on some wheels. I was hoping they would have a lowering shock that has the leveling valving. I normally work on Mustangs so everything you can think of has been done and has parts for it. Looking forward to hear the thought on these Eibach shocks when you guys get them. On Mustangs the springs are top notch but the shocks are not well respected. Where is Spring TX? I am in San Antonio but relatively new to TX.

Re: Lowering kits for 2011 grand cherokee?? Help please!

This is how I did it on my CTS-V. Instead of auto adjusting headlamps they also put the load leveler nivomats on the rear. In order to keep the functionality someone made and sold spacers. Haven't really looked at the shock mount on the jeep yet, but would something like this fit?

I'm just north of Huston about 20 miles.
If I do the helper bag thing I plan to install a compressor to....that way I can fine tune the height and ride. My track car is a pretty light RX-7 turbo but I have plans to get a 2nd gen. Viper.....I get all excited when I think about it. .
