if you don't mind me asking, what did they cost you out the door? Is the ride noticeably different? Thanks!

no prob. I was surprised to see it touching the wheel lining there, but if anything it's only lightly rubbing that spot and that too only when turned full lock. I think it should be fine, will keep a watch.

Plus new tires wear faster initially and then slow down. Once it's down past 10/32" it prob wont rub at all.

I got them from Costco. Was $1,006 out the door after $70 off. Besides the tires themselves the price includes:

VA Tax, Tire Disposal, New valve stems (like $2 per), installation/mounting

Lifetime Road Hazard (free flat repair, or replace tire at pro-rated cost)

Lifetime Tire Rotation AND Balance (every 7,500 mi or as needed)

Right now the tire is so new, less than 200 miles on em. Already MUCH smoother cruising on the highway and less noise. I can tell the height increase slightly when getting in/out of the car.

Around town, i feel the ride is a bit squirmy going over bumps at angles or uneven surfaces. This could be because the tire is brand new, not broken in yet so there is going to be a little squirm due to the tread depth. Also i had let my old tires get down to 33/34 psi for a softer ride. These are at 36psi right now, and i am thinking maybe to go higher since we plus sized? They are def more comfy than the old tires if both are at 36 psi.

Lastly, i feel a bit more body roll when taking sharp turns at low speeds. This could be just because of more tread so the steering response is higher as the tire has more bite... but also because of the size increase. More rubber, taller tire, wider, more sidewall etc. .......still, love the SMOOTHness while cruising at speed!

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

These tires have a greasy feeling when new and feel like they lay over in the turns. Once you get a few good heat cycles in to firm up the rubber, they're great. Went from the Forteras on my wife's Outlook to these same tires and have been very impressed with them. The only negative we've had is the "tramline" effect on grooved pavement, but it's not bad at all and acceptable given all the other positive characteristics.

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

I just got mine today and I'm really pleased. It's been rainy here so I haven't been able to get pics or examine the ride heights in detail, but happy so far.

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

oh awesome! I like having the extra sidewall for sure. I hear a slight rub when i back out of my driveway in the morning (if in Park mode). It's when I cut my wheel over sharp to turn and then go over where the driveway meets the road. Sounds like the rubber grazing against the wheel-well lining... not bad at all.

I should follow up and inspect the lining to see if any signs of rubbing are visible.

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

I still haven't been able to get any pictures with the weather so I thought I'd just post some thoughts.

The tires seem a little quieter and smoother overall. The increased vehicle height is noticeable but minor - it feels more like what it should be. I have also noticed that at highway speeds the speedometer is about 2-3 mph slow which is expected with the bigger tires. Pretty pleased overall.

1-2 MPG? Ouch! That would put me at 8 MPG.

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

I just ordered the ltx ms2 in the 275/55r20 size. What is the correct tire pressure? Any idea how to figure this out?

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

I have the V6, used to get combined 19mpg for the tank, now i'm lucky to get 18.. usually it's 17mpg for me. Haven't tested pure highway road trip yet on the new tires.

I wondered about the tire pressure, and tried doing some research. Still not 100% sure, but from what i saw you only needed to worry about this if you were changing rim size. Couldn't find info on if you are just plus sizing the tire on the same rim. Seems like it should be diff for us since we are going up to a 32" tire.

I started out with 35 psi, then tried 37-38 psi for a month. That was nice, and i thought maybe better with this bigger tire. They have settled back down to 36 and i think it is best to just keep em right there. Play around with it.
