MHT Fuel BOOST Wheels 17x9

Anybody have any thoughts on the look and fit of these wheels on a stone white wk2? Im having a heck of a time finding wheels I like with the right offset. These are +14. Just concerned about how far they will stick out. Thanks.

Re: MHT Fuel BOOST Wheels 17x9

They'll poke out about 1.2" more than stock. some have said 1" is flush with the fender. I would think it may be a little less....
Just try it out and post pics for the rest of us

Re: MHT Fuel BOOST Wheels 17x9

MHT makes that wheel in a +20mm offset that will be a better fit. It is still going to stick out past the fender. For reference 9" at +30mm seems to be about flush with the fender (for the wheel). The tire sidewall may stick out more based on tire width. I have +25mm wheels, and my 285 tires stick out approx 1/2 - 3/4" from the fenders.

Re: MHT Fuel BOOST Wheels 17x9

Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it.

webspoke- Thanks for pointing out the +20mm offset (every mm helps!), not sure how I overlooked that one. I currently have 245/75 Goodyear Duratracs installed on the stock rims.

I'm getting my 2.5" RRO lift installed this Saturday and then hopefully I can nail down this wheel situation.

I'll be sure to post pics of the Lift and wheels when its all done.

Bad to the bone. Pics like yours make me wonder if I should ditch my 20s. Nicely done.

That looks great, love the machined accents in the wheels.
