Re: Michelin Latitude Tire Pressure

The sticker on my door jam is showing 33. Confirmed it today. Do any of you guys run them higher? Vnb, seems strange that yours show 36 vs most others at 33. How did the trip to the dealer work out?

That's odd. The build date on my Jeep was June/2013. What's your build date? Perhaps they changed the reccomended PSI setting on recent builds? Ragardless, I run them at 36 PSI even if the sticker said 33.

I dropped off my Jeep this morning and was told later in the day today that they need another day to get everything done. So I'm hoping Monday I'll get it back. They're doing a wheel alignment, centering the steering wheel (albeit part of the wheel alignment),Road Force wheel balance, realigning the sunroof and fixing the liftgate handle trim(not flush). My dealership has the Hunter Road Force balance machine which I hope addresses the steering wheel vibration at 65+ mph. I'll post back as soon as I get it back. Wish me luck.

I wonder if the Limited and Overland show different recommended pressure due to difference in weight. Or, as someone mentioned, maybe a revision on later builds.

Mine is an Overland built in March, sticker says 33 with the 18" Michelins.

It's on the drivers door in mine, on a sticker.

Re: Michelin Latitude Tire Pressure

36 psi - limited V6 built 6/22. Still has 40 all around from dealer. Going to let some out tomorrow in preparation for a 1200 mile week long road trip starting Wednesday. I'll have about 2,000 miles when I get back and will post a review then. So far, so GREAT!

Doesn't matter now. I dumped the latitudes for Cooper Discoverer AT3s @ 38 PSI cold.
Those Coopers are great tires! I bought a set for my old 2001 WJ right before I sold it. The car handled noticeably better and they were great on a nasty rocky road I occasionally travel with very sharp rocks that punched a hole in the WJ factory originals. When these Michelins wear out, I'm up for a new set of Coopers!

BTW...Cooper WAS and American company out of Ohio and Texas, but I read a few weeks ago that they were bought by a company in India. I hope they don't change anything!
