Cool Michelin LTX AT2

I want to replace the OEM Latitudes with same size (265/60-18) Michelin LTX AT2's for better traction. I have these tires (different size of course) on a 2007 Honda CR-V AWD and have experienced excellent offroad (for that vehicle) and highway service. They have over 68,000 miles and only 2 of them need replacing--they've been rotated regularly. Any thoughts on applicability to a 4WD Grand Cherokee with QTII?

Re: Michelin LTX AT2

The LTX AT2s are good tires, all things being equal.

I almost bought a set, but found I couldn't forgive Michelin for the Latitudes (worst Michelins I've ever owned in three decades).

Re: Michelin LTX AT2

I have the LTX AT2 on my wife's Outlook (similar vehicle to the WK2) and they're excellent.

Re: Michelin LTX AT2

I just put the LTX AT2 on my 11 Overland and I love them, not obnoxiously loud on the highway but still get great traction on the trails in gravel, sand and mud. Read reviews online that some people get them to 100k miles before replacing them. I've had them about a week and 500 miles now so only time will tell, but so far so good.
