MICHELIN LTX M/S in 265/50R20

Finally the Michelin LTX M/S2 is now in the stock 265/50R20 size! Renamed the Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Definitely my next tire

Defender LTX M/S

Definitely a good tire to consider. Had a set on a 03' Blazer and they handled rain and snow without any issues. May be my next tire depending on how I feel about these Nokian WRG3s at their end of life.

Re: MICHELIN LTX M/S in 265/50R20

I had LTX M/S 2's on my 2011. While an excellent tire, they are only fair on ice and/or hard packet road snow. It really depends on your local winter conditions and your driving. I drive lightly and partially slid through a stop sign with them so wanted an all-weather tire (mountain/snowflake symbol) for my 2015.

Definitely worth the extra premiums, got 70k miles out of a set when I traded my truck in, and probably good for another 10-20k miles.

Just out of curiosity, how are you liking the Nokians?

Re: MICHELIN LTX M/S in 265/50R20

12,000+ miles on them and so far they are the perfect "all year" tire for me. Put them on at 100 miles on current vehicle Nov. 2014. And this past winter's snow was like the "old days"!
I put WR G2's on our Subaru in 2012 and that sold me on them.

I had these on my 2wd f150 and would push through two feet of snow just fine. Of course without four wheel drive, hills were very challenging. I will be getting these for my grand Cherokee!

Just got a set of the Michelin Defender LTX M/S on my Overland. Only about 50 miles on them but so far, they are smooth and quiet. Look good too!

That is good to hear. Did you get them in the 265/50R20 size? Please keep us posted on how you like them as they changed the tire compound on this iteration of them. Thanks posting

Yup, went with stock size. I've had several sets of Revos. First time Michelin LTX M/S. I'll get some pics tonight or tomorrow.
