I only need tires that get me to the grocery store safely.

In that case, go to your local tire dealer, and ask to see anything that's discontinued, and "on sale"...

Re: MICHELIN Premier LTX

I have to say even though I only had my 16 75th laredo a week. The premier ltx's on it are pretty damn impressive. Smooth, grip the road really well. It's night and day from the Fortera's on my 15 altitude. Looking forward to the winter to see how they handle snow.

Re: MICHELIN Premier LTX

I noticed at my local tire shop they have like four Pirelli scorpion verde all season tires. Two say plus and two don't and seems they have a t and v speed rating version. So when people mention pirellis Which tire is everyone talking about? I drive a 2014 overland with 20" wheels btw.

The "plus" is the current version of the tire. The ones without are the prior version of the Pirelli Scorpion Verde. I don't think you want to mix and match the two.

hdrolling, What tire came on your 2017 Summit? When Milious first put out the information on the 2017 GC, he indicated Bridgestone Ecopia H/L was the standard tire on the Summit with an option to upgrade to Pirelli Scorpion Verde. But when I ordered my 2017 Summit, dealer didn't show any optional tire. Jeep "Build & Price" doesn't list any either. I was just wondering now what tire I will get on my 2017 Summit. Thanks. Al

Thanks and no I won't be mixing and matching tires. I'm planning on replacing the stock Goodyear Forterra tires with new tires soon. I'm looking at the Michelin premier, Perelli scorpion Verde plus, and the Cooper Discoverer Wrx tires as replacements. I'm mainly an asphalt driver though we do have considerable Snow in the winters where I live. Saying that the Goodyear tires have not been bad in the snow so if any of these tires are as good if not better than the forterrras, they'll work for me. Any thoughts or opinions on those three tires I'm thinking of replacing the stock goodyears with.
