You cannot delete the QuadraLift option. I wouldn't lose any sleep over reliable concerns for QL, overall the WK2 will be more reliable than prior models.

Betcha it will...

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

I am not worried about the quadra-lift that will be on my new Overland that is on order. I have almost a million miles on semi tractor with air suspension and put a commputer controlled air down force system on our planter this spring. I have confidence in the technology. Anything can break. I'll just enjoy it while it is working and not worry about it.

However if you're dropping 40-50k on a truck, whats a couple hundred for replacement parts? I am sure there will be all kinds of aftermarket suspension upgrades for the WK2 soon enough anyway.
it kinda is though...chevy is the non luxurious, gmc is the semi luxurious, and cadillac is the most luxurious...just saying, it is B.S. to charge that much, but like someone said earlier, you are paying $40k for a car, whats a couple of hundred dollars

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

come on guys...your quoting new prices for parts at the stealerships. The price for the SRT Bilsteins at the stealerships is almost $900. There are discount parts sites, car-part.com and others where parts are alot less expensive. If your paying full price for parts at stealerships....shame on you. It will not be as expensive for DIYer's

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

The air suspension is not as much about lift, as it is about vastly improved ride and control over the standard setup. I would not get one without it after reading the reviews.

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

I have an Overland 4x4 on order. Has any Overland 4x4 been built with Quadralift so far. I saw one arrive at my dealer last week that still did not have it. My order date was 8-16-10. I do not want the Jeep if it does not come with it. They say my production completion date is 9-2-10.

From what everyone on here says your Overland should have it, but don't get your hopes up on that completion date.

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

It is in D1. My dealer told me that means they have all they need to build it and it will be done soon. Is that not correct?

First, of all, your Overland 4x4 WILL have Quadra-Lift. The cutoff date was in June; every Overland 4x4 ordered after that date will have it, and they began producing it in early August.

As for when yours will be built, D1 status means it is generally scheduled for production, but it can slip a bit. Probably will. Mine was ordered July 10, hit D1 status 5 days later, and FINALLY was built this past week.

In other words, vehicles have been known to sit in D1 for a while, but word is they're clearing out this Overland backlog, so I wouldn't expect most people to be 6+ weeks from order to production, let alone delivery. The estimated delivery date is just that- an estimate, and likely an inaccurate one. In another thread I've detailed the est ship dates I've had, and not one has been anywhere near reality. I don't know what the current est ship date is (doesn't really matter, it will ship when it ships), but I figure I'll be doing well to have my hands on it by the end of next week. Yours may ship more quickly after production, it might take longer.

So, basically, don't make any bets or solid plans based on what your dealer tells you regarding production or delivery- even Jeep themselves can't tell you for sure when those events will happen.

Re: Milous--Quadralift Overland question

My dealer says it is the #3 dealer in the country and they used an allotment to order it. They still say it will be completed 9-2-10. I drove an Overland 4x4 Hemi Offroad II like I ordered, without the Quadralift, and it was really nice. The Sport mode is great. I will let everyone know if it really starts shipping on 9-2-10.
