Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

17's will fit as that's standard on the laredo "e" .. I say that b/c there are Moabs in the 17" size b/c many people run them on the WK, but they all use a spacer (the size I don't know.. I think 1/4"). I don't think that 16's will work .. not sure how rugged you're talking but 17's should be fine.

Good luck and beautiful purchase. The V8 engine compartment is very different (obviously lol).

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

JK Wrangler wheels will fit, but not the TJ...different bolt circles. You'd have to coordinate the backset, but generally, all WJ, WK, and JK wheels have the same 5 on 5 bolt circle.

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

the WK has larger calipers than the others....so spacers are usually needed. The 2011 Overland is suppose to have HD brake calipers....anyone seen the difference?

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

I'll need to buy winter wheels and tires for our Overland (if it gets here before winter ). I'll probably get 18" winter wheels to replace the stock 20's, to get a little more tire side wall. I did this with my Charger SRT-8, but it took some work to find 18" 5-spoke wheels that would clear the Brembo brake calipers. I'm hoping it will be easier to find 18" wheels for the WK2.

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

Check eBay for dealer take-offs. That's how I bought the JK wheels for my WJ, and paid about $250 with shipping for a set of four.

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

The 18" steel wheels are available in the accessory catalog. I plan on purchasing those as well for the winter sneakers.

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

JK Moabs should fit the WK2. They fit with 1/8" spacers on the front for the WK. They ar 17s and the right bolt pattern. The 16" TJ moabs are too smallt o fit over the calipers not to mention the bolt pattern is not right for a wk.

Re: Moab wheels on a WK2?

So what's the final result on this? Was a spacer needed? 17" work? Any pics?
