Re: Moab Wheels on my WK2 - 255/75/17 - Photos

such an amazing improvement over any factory GC rim! just got my mobs and plasti dipped them. when i tried to put the front wheels on the rim was hitting the caliper (2012 wk2 4x4) already ordered spacers, just wondering how yours fit and mine didn't

Depending upon your spacer size, expect some probable rubbing issues with those 255/75/17's. It completely changes the backspacing and while that size fits on OEM offset, it probably won't with anything that sticks out much further and without a lift or level on the suspension.

I couldn't get a 265/70/17 to fit with the moabs and 1.25" spacers on stock suspension and the 255/75/17 size I have now, with the RRO leveling kit added, also barely clears from rubbing with a full turn of the steering wheel.

Would you happen to know if a 255/75/17 would fit in the spare tire compartment? Thanks

Already PM'd back to you, but just for the sake of others knowing publicly, YES the 255/75/17 WILL FIT, but without the trays and it will have less room within the wheel for spare tools than the stock 18" spare. Just FYI.
