I put some Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 SUV studless snow tires (265/60/R18) on the Mopar "Black & Machined Rugged Off-Road Wheel" (18x8, 56.4 offset) that's been floating around in the Mopar/Jeep accessories brochures for the last 5 years.
I had one heck of a time getting someone to honor their advertised price on these wheels. I placed an order three separate times at three different places and the third one finally honored their price and shipped. The first two cancelled the order and doubled the price. I guess the MSRP recently increased from $225 to $405 for some unknown reason. I ended up getting them for $262.50 each, including shipping. I'm not looking forward to when I need a replacement, given the new price.
They showed up in perfect condition. The installer gouged chips out of the clear coat on two out of the four wheels around the valve stem, so whatever luck I had with lack of shipping damage was bypassed by the installer (local Tire Pros). I'm still negotiating with them on what they're going to do to make this right. I'm looking at some temporary clear coat patch to keep the water/salt from ruining them while I sort out the permanent repairs.
Anyway, here's some pics of them installed. I really like the look. Not totally blacked out and not too bling. I love how it goes with the Red and Black on my '15 Limited.
