Have a white 2015 Overland, living in rural Colorado, the winter salt and chloride splash is making a mess of the underside of the vehicle & too much coming up the side of the vehicle. Don't like the running boards and mudflaps (and afraid I'd tear them off at some point). Also don't like the look of either.
The Mopar rock rails have a nice flush look, and, stick out enough to knock some of that mess down. They're $850 from Mopar. Anyone find a better, similar solution, for less cost?
That's true. I don't think they are meant to be for rock crawling. RRO has a different model for that. These are meant to be more of a rugged step/side rail.
I got the same feedback when I bought the 14 ... It has had the trail hawk (2012?) go rock rails, fits fine, was a bear to install according to the installer.. They had actually order the newer rock rails ( with secondary bar) first by mistake, and they fit as well... Hopefully someone will go ahead and do a 15 and post pic's so others know that will fit as well..
