Need Help - handling / Lowering '15 GC limited

hey All - thanks in advance. I just got a v6 3.6 limited with stock 18" rims. I want to get better handling for higher speeds. Would lowering the truck along with wider rims do the trick or am I looking at a new suspension? Any suggestions on what steps / parts / kits to go for?
