Need opinions on Winter tires - X-ice 2's vs DM-V1/V2

Hi all,

I'm looking for some opinions on these tires for those who have used them or know people who have. Currently running DM-V2's and find them great in the snow. Seem to be decent in slush/ice too. However road noise on dry/wet pavement I'm not happy with. Also wondering how long of tread life I'll get out of them as they seem a bit soft.

Looking at the X-ice 2's they seem to be geared more for dry/wet/ice but not as well in slush/snow at least in some reviews. But look to get good treadwear/low noise reviews. My area doesn't get a ton of snow so more icy/slushy weather for most of the winter.

Hoping some can chime in around any of these and let me know how you have found them or what you'd recommend between the two.

Thank you

Blizzaks for sure. In fact I just read a review recently where the guy complained how the X-Ice sucked on snow. Or step up to the Nokian Hakkapelitta R2.

We are running the Michelin X-ice snow tires on our AWD Murano & they are amazing! Excellent traction, cornering & stopping in all conditions! I would highly recommend these for your Jeep! I have the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires on my Overland & they are excellent tires, too!
