Need to replace rear shocks - question

I need to replace the rear shock. Lots of rattling I thought was from the door but the dealer said they ruled it out and I need shocks. 2012 with 50K miles.

In the attached picture can anyone tell me how these come out? They are different than the push pins that are more commonly used.

The second picture is the top mount that is rusted out.

Thanks in advance. Hoping not to rip the inner fender well piece.

Todd

The inner fenders are easily removed. Drill out the plastic rivet and replace with a Scrivet. See my post:

After reading so many of these issues I'm very happy I purchased the Maxcare Lifetime Warranty.

I am trying to get my dealer to let me buy it.. my warranty is up in about 6 months and i can't imagine the cost when this horrible trans finally dies...
