New Cooper Tire

Has anyone tried these? Supposed to be like the AT3, but with more winter capabilities. Sounds interesting.

Re: New Cooper Tire

The tires are very new to the market-Cooper did not release them for sale until this spring. It's unlikely that anybody has tried them yet.

Re: New Cooper Tire

Thanks,
That's what I'm thinking. Not a lot of sizes available as well, but most independent commercial reviews are great. Bears watching

Re: New Cooper Tire

Greetings,

Cooper responded to the complaints about the AT/3 very quickly. One of the key things they did was to get the mountain flake symbol on the tire for winter conditions. Another improvement went into the tread block siping design.

It does look like a winner, but like anything else, time will tell.

Best for now.

Re: New Cooper Tire

I loved the AT/3 but they performed horrible in real ice conditions. I purchased their Cooper Weather Master and not a single slip all winter. These might be my 2015 stock replacement if they perform well on ice.

Re: New Cooper Tire

Looks like a winner. But once again, no 265/50R20's. What is it about this particular size that tire manufacturer's like to skip over it?

Re: New Cooper Tire

or 265 60 18 either. Called Cooper...no attempt to answer as to when more sizes may be available. More interested in putting me on to another model.
