22inch rims would fill some of the wheel-well gap. Shouldn't be any problem as long as you don't go with a giant tire sidewall (any height/width ratio over 45). Maybe some 1.25 spacers to make the wheels flush? Some expensive but good choice rims are Lexani, Niche, and XO.

If you want 20 inch rims though i do have a lovely set of SRT Reps for sale, never used

Re: New here - looking to upgrade my tires/wheels

if you go with 20" wheels I would recommend a 295/45/20" tire on a 20x10

or if you go to 22" wheels go with a 305/35/22 on a 22x10/10.5"

I've tried a few different wheels/tires on my 2014 (on my 6th set now) and have settled for now on a set of 22" x 10" for the summer and I run 20x10" srt reps with 285/50/20" blizzak winter tires.

as for the style...everyone has a different preference for wheels so it's hard to recommend...soo many wheels to choose from .....

Re: New here - looking to upgrade my tires/wheels

Hey all,

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm a total newbie with wheels and tires, so you're info is really appreciated. I'm just learning about sizes, etc. What i do know is that I have liked some of the pics I've seen on here... and wouldn't mind going the same route.

I think, by looking at other's set-up, I'd like to go with something like the following:

Wheels: Black Rhino Mozambique, Matte Black; or, KMC 651 Slide B, black
[20 inches]

Tires: BFG KO2 A/T; or NITTO Terra Grappler G2; or other?
[275/55R20], or 285/50/R20]?

Lift? Do I need a RRO Level Lift?

Rails: I'd like to add Mopar Rock Rails

I'd like the tires to stick out from the sides by about 1" or so. Do i need spacers (not sure what those are exactly), and how is that different from tire off-set?

Also - who does installation best? Discount, or any other tire place? Do i need to go to a 4x4 shop for the level lift? Would the dealership do it - and not rip me off?

Any help is much appreciated. I can't help it, I like the look of your jeeps and would love to do mine too!

2014 GC Limited, white.

Thanks all!

Check out the member rides-showoff subforum. Most of the builds on there have a short explanation on though process and materials along with pics.
