Stock on a Summit. Bumpers, flares, side skirts and exhaust are all different than the rest of the WK2 line.

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

Regarding brushing the chrome, it can be done with a scotch brite pad. Here is an example.

After:

The lug nuts were delayed so I have to wait until Saturday, but will snap a bunch of pics then.

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

I'm going to consider doing this to my front grill. But still thinking about paint matching it.

I purchased a 2014 Summit a couple of weeks ago. Since purchasing, I have had the lower body work (that came grey from the factory) and mirror caps color matched. The front windows are tinted 20% and the interior lights have been swapped out for the precision LED interior kit. Of course, all of the badges came off in the first hour. Lastly, it sits on 20x10 gloss black spider monkey wheels wrapped with 295/45 General Grabber tires. Black gorilla lug nuts should be here next weekend and I will be finished, although I am considering brushing all of the left over chrome.

I'll post more pics once I clean it up, and also after the lug nuts are put on. Here is a teaser.

Also, my stockers are for sale with tires and tpms here:

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

Did you buy new mirror caps or did the shop paint over the chrome?

x2 I've done this with some chrome fixtures at our old house so they'd better match the brushed nickel updates we did. It looked pretty close, maybe more like stainless steel, and the casual observer never noticed the difference... Never thought about doing it to the chrome on a vehicle! Now the wheels are turning...this would look good with my setup...

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

Looks awesome! I'm about to get some new wheels & tires for my '14 Summit. Are you running stock suspension? What is your rear wheel well gap? How does it ride?
