--- New Ride, New Wheels ---

Hello folks,

I purchased a 2014 Summit a couple of weeks ago. Since purchasing, I have had the lower body work (that came grey from the factory) and mirror caps color matched. The front windows are tinted 20% and the interior lights have been swapped out for the precision LED interior kit. Of course, all of the badges came off in the first hour. Lastly, it sits on 20x10 gloss black spider monkey wheels wrapped with 295/45 General Grabber tires. Black gorilla lug nuts should be here next weekend and I will be finished, although I am considering brushing all of the left over chrome.

I'll post more pics once I clean it up, and also after the lug nuts are put on. Here is a teaser.

Also, my stockers are for sale with tires and tpms here:

Looks good thanks for sharing. Need more pics !! ;-)

Just curious did they have to remove the skirts to paint or do try do that on the car? Also, if you don't mind what did that run you?

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

^Thanks!

Yes, they removed both bumpers and the rockers. I emailed a lot of body shops and had quotes up to $3,500, LOL. I ended up finding a place that did all of the paint work for $700 which was a steal here in LA. I'll post some more pics when I clean it up.

Looks excellent! I really like the debaging. I have considered taking off the Grand Cherokee badge and 4x4 (only leaving the front Jeep and rear Jeep).

Very nice!!!! You should look into ceramic pro 9h to protect that thing. They do body, wheels and interior. Well worth the investment and really works

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

Damnit, now that I know how awesome all that looks, I need to find a way to do the same mods. Glad to finally see a white Summit on SRT wheels.

I've been considering trying to get the lower grey panels wrapped in white, but if I can find a shop to paint them for $700, I'd definitely go that way. Looks awesome!

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

How do you go about "brushing all of the left over chrome" ?

Re: --- New Ride, New Wheels ---

I'm guessing since it can be scratched fairly easily, hitting it with something like steel wool would brush it pretty nicely.

Do you have the srt fender flares? Or do those come with the summit as well?
