New Rims and tires..getting ready..

Hi,
Just changed rims and tires as in 2 days we are off to 4 days of off roading in an area were there its supposed to be mud and sand, I'll share the pics when I get back, didnt want to go with the street rims and tires which are 20's, so I got 18 inch rims and all terrain tires which should be good enough.
Rgds.

Very Nice! CONGRATS! Can't wait to see the pic of your trip. That tread looks beefy. Your gonna keep the 20s for the street too?
Are the new set of same dimensions, or did you go larger?
That sounds like a boss plan if you have the storage for them.

enjoy

Yes, the idea is to have this set (the one in the pics) for these trips, and when I get back I go back to the street 20's with Michelin tires which for me are among the best you can get down here.
The set in the pic is a smaller rim as in order to get more rubber and keep the same overall diameter I had to go to 18 rims.
Everything stayed stock, no modifications needed, it was just take out street set and get the AT in place.

MOFSTEEL - I know you love the red cover calipers !..ha,ha...just kidding..I had to take them out as with these rims they rubbed and wouldnt fit, so even though I like them I'm not sure they will go back as I dont want to have to put them in and out everytime I switch wheels.

The place we are going is supposed to be very good, its right next to Iguazu Falls, aprox. 1200 kms. from here/home.
Rgds.

I like the wheel and tire set up. Looks beefy.
