New shocks

Just had 2 rear self adjusting shocks put on my 2012 Overland. Would doing that tend to raise the rear more than it was? Or is it my OCD kicking in. It looks higher...

Re: New shocks

Hard to say without before and after photos... That said, from a logical standpoint, if the shocks are different than the OEM units, there could be a difference in how they sit in a "normal", unstressed position. And, of course, they are brand new...perhaps the old shocks were, um...less supportive...due to age.

Re: New shocks

You can only get the shocks from the dealer. They don't make an aftermarket one for the air suspension. I had one shock leaking, not real bad but decide I better change it. I think you should do them in pairs. I didn't think shocks had anything to do with height but seems to look higher in the rear now. I don't think age has anything to do with it. 37,000 miles...
