Re: New Tires....Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/55/20

Will a 275/55R20 fit in the spare tire well (with the lid closed completely)?

Hey Felipito, what size tire were you comparing it to in picture (side by side)? The Nitto's look huge! Hows do the tires ride on the highway?

Re: New Tires....Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/55/20

felipito,

Looks great... any difference in ride quality? Can you feel the road more/less. I'm assuming that the larger 55 Grapplers have a better ride than 50 Forteras. Please let us know... Thanks!

I don't advice you to use Nitto... They wear of easily. They are rubbish quality. I used them on luxury sport cars, sedan and 4x4. I used mostly NT555 and Invo. They are okay for 3 months but later on they become noisy and they start to get cuts on the tire side wall, then it will be followed by other areas. Grip wise they are shiz quality. Sorry to say that but this is from my experience and my opinion you should throw them away

That's funny, I have had a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Tahoe for 2 years and after 30k miles they still have extremely deep tread and are wearing great. No balancing issues whatsoever and they are made in USA. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set!

Re: New Tires....Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/55/20

Nitto tires are owned operated and manufactured in the usa. Though they are a subsidiary of Toyo tires (yet another high quality tire co) I've almost always heard nothing but good words about all nitto tires.
