HI i am back!!!
i placed the new tires, Nitto terra Grapplers 275/55/20 and i can only say one word...WOW!!! this tires are exactly what i wanted.
the are really big and i gained almost a inch in ground clearance which is exactly what i wanted.
If you see this from the front in Off Road 2 you will think it is a monstertruck!!!!!
they give me confidence when i go off road.
the only unconfortable part is that in normal ride height is one inch higher and it is tough to get out and get in, and i dont like to put park suspension every time i get out of the car. but thats the way it is....
here are some pictures....

Have them on my Armada. Love them. Wore like Iron. Got 75k out of them. Not as good as Michelin LTX AT I had on my ZJ in the snow however. Guess you're not too tall. I flop in easily and could go up another 6" in ride height no problem. LOL I'm 6'1".

i am 5-9....no rubbing in any suspension setting at all.
no nose (they are new), a little more comfortable because of the higher height or maybe placebo effect...but really glad that i changed them, the stock tires are garbage...
on the height it does bother me some...but my wife is pregnant and it does get more difficult for here...
in the future 2-3 years maybe go higher with 275/60/20.....lets see how everything goes...

Pregnant wives get a pass. Congrats on the baby! I'm womndering if the 275/60-20 will rub. That's what I wanted to do but I haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. Thx

thanks FUNDGUY!!!
For the 275/60/20 i am sure they rub...only in park suspension....i dont think in normal would rub.
Yes those are scratches on the wheel!!! when hunting for the first time on the stock tire and i was slippery and got stock because of the tires and scratched them all up, main reason why i did change them.

I don't advice you to use Nitto... They wear of easily. They are rubbish quality. I used them on luxury sport cars, sedan and 4x4. I used mostly NT555 and Invo. They are okay for 3 months but later on they become noisy and they start to get cuts on the tire side wall, then it will be followed by other areas. Grip wise they are shiz quality. Sorry to say that but this is from my experience and my opinion you should throw them away

That's funny, I have had a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my Tahoe for 2 years and after 30k miles they still have extremely deep tread and are wearing great. No balancing issues whatsoever and they are made in USA. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set!

Nitto tires are owned operated and manufactured in the usa. Though they are a subsidiary of Toyo tires (yet another high quality tire co) I've almost always heard nothing but good words about all nitto tires.

Had a set of Terra Grapplers on my 2500 Ram and they rode and wore great, had 45,000 miles on them when I sold the truck. Person who bought the truck came to test drive it in a snow storm and thought the tires still had great grip. They did throw a lot of rocks around on gravel roads though when new.
